It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Paul Rex Crowie, who left us too soon at the age of 52. Born on September 11, 1972, to Eileen and Arthur Crowie, Paul was the beloved youngest brother to Joy, Brian, and Martin, and father to Schmichael, Zac, and Radka.

Paul was a gifted musician, known for his captivating voice, guitar skills, and drumming, notably with the local band ‘The Big Easy.’ His passion for music began in childhood and brought joy to countless lives. Beyond music, Paul found solace in nature, enjoying gardening and fishing.

He was also a loyal Manchester United fan and played football locally for The Harts. Paul’s career took him to the Falkland Islands, the UK, and Ascension Island before he returned home in 2004, most recently serving as a compassionate Care Worker at the CCC.

His kindness, humor, and ability to connect with others through stories and songs will be profoundly missed. The Crowie family would like to thank every one who sent messages and helped during this difficult time, Paul’s passing leaves an irreplaceable void, but his spirit will live on through the cherished memories of his family and friends. May he now rest in peace.
